Site audience and purpose
Civil servants and Chief Officers are the primary audiences for this site. Advice is given regarding the appeals process including preparing for, and attending, hearings.
Site navigation
The site is divided into two main topics; namely:
- Appeals details the grounds for an appeal and how to lodge an appeal.
- Hearings discusses the proceedings of a hearing and the decision-making process.
Additionally, there are five reference topics - About Us, the Press Room, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Contact Us, and Forms.
The Site Map is recommended as an alternative aid to navigating the site.
Page layout
Pages on the site conform to a standard format.
The banner menu provides links to the main topics and the reference topics from each page of the site. Click on the Home link or the CSAC logo to return to the homepage.
At the foot of each page is information on the date the page was published or last modified, the primary contact details for the Civil Service Appeals Commission, and other useful links, e.g. terms and conditions, access keys, feedback, etc.
The right column, except on the homepage, shows a local menu specific to the section of the site currently being visited.
